Michelle is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) who works with adults experiencing a range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD, OCD, ADHD, autism, addiction, and significant life transitions. She also offers Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD.
Michelle’s approach is primarily grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), with person-centred, humanistic, and existential influences. Warm, genuine, and collaborative, she places a strong emphasis on building meaningful therapeutic relationships and creating a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves. Her non-judgmental approach incorporates openness and humour alongside the more challenging parts of therapy, with the goal of helping clients gain new perspectives, better understand themselves and their patterns, and feel empowered to create meaningful change in their lives.
Originally from Quebec, Michelle completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology at McGill University and her Master of Education in Counselling Psychology at the University of Lethbridge. She is fluent in English, French, and Romanian and is happy to provide counselling in any of these languages.
