Esther provides client-centered, trauma-informed counselling, guiding clients toward inner change and personal growth. She’s inspired by her client’s resilience and collaboratively helps them tap into their innate strength and courage.
Her grounding in Restorative Justice underlines the importance of a holistic perspective, weaving in the interconnectedness of an individual’s circumstances and healing process. Esther has experience addressing issues such as substance use disorder, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, LGBTQ+ issues, and other complex life challenges. Esther provides a nurturing and empathetic space where clients can safely explore their thoughts and feelings. Esther honours clients’ rights to determine their therapeutic goals and works with them in a way that aligns with their values.
After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Victoria, Esther further honed her skills as a Certified Canadian Addictions Counsellor (CCAC) and is now advancing her education as a Master of Counselling candidate.
