Dr. Ryan Wong is a registered psychologist with the College of Health & Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC #04036). He received his masters degree and PhD in Clinical Neuropsychology from the University of Victoria and has specific expertise in brain injury and neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder, and specific learning disorders), as well as general neurocognitive and mental health assessment. Ryan uses norms-based neuropsychological tests and other empirically validated clinical tools to aid in clarifying diagnostic concerns. While Ryan is predominantly an assessment-focused clinician, he often adopts a therapeutic assessment lens, in that assessment procedures should ideally be educational, collaborative, and empowering to the individual, with assessments providing practical and evidence-based recommendations for resolving ongoing issues.
